I'm looking for a killer vocal hook to make this tune complete. This track will be released on my upcoming album in late March/early April. If you view the track on SoundCloud, you can look at the notes I put at key points in the track (verse, pre-chorus, chorus, etc.). I'm really open to different vocal ideas and styles but here are some songs that demonstrate the kind of vocal styles I tend to prefer:

When Missing You - Cold Rush, Jo Cartwright (female)
Cry for You - September (female)
Heading Up High - Armin van Buuren, Kensington (male)
At the end of the day, it's going to come down to the hook in the chorus. Come up with something killer and the gig is yours.
As far as lyric ideas, all of my tracks are about positivity and empowerment. I like lyrics that people can relate to and get behind. They don't need to be deep, but the should present a positive message of strength and empowerment.
