Looking for a vocalist for this progressive house track.
Not looking for anything to complex really. Im satisfied with something simple. But if you want to try something slightly more complex then feel free.
How it would work is I would send the vocalist a really low quality version of the track so they have something to record against. The Vocalist would need to send me the Vocal over and I can put it into the project on my end. I May toy with the vocal slightly on my end depending how it goes and if I feel it fits a certain way.
Now when the track gets signed, you have to realise most labels have a 'pay out point', usually around 100 dollars. This means royalties get paid out after this mark is reached (if ever), which for small independent artists, rarely happens. If the mark was reached you would be paid. I would work it so in order for the track to be released you would be on the original contract. I believe it is around 25% royalty rate, however; that would depend on the label.
