I will be awarding the winner $150, I just didn't want to list the project in the $100-$300 range because I can only afford $150 at the moment. So please don't let the low price point discourage you from bidding. =)
On February 14th, 2016, my sister suffered a stroke at the young age of 25. She was hospitalized and comatose for several days to follow. We initially did not believe she was going to make it. She miraculously pulled through and thus this song was born.
I wish I could pay more but I will split royalties down the middle. This will be an official release.
This song is very personal to me, so I would like to keep these lyrics, but I am open to changing the topline melody if you have something in mind you think works better. Please refer to the audio brief for the lyrics and the sample topline.
I'm leaning towards a female vocalist, but am open to a male vocalist if his voice fits the track well.
If this project is something you're interested in, I can direct you to a link where you can play around with singing over the instrumental version. I'm more likely to award a bidder that has provided me some sort of demo. Adlibs are cool too if you feel like adding them in where you feel necessary.
Lastly please note this track is in the demo stage, so I apologize for the mess. I will be mixing the track around your vocals. The finished product will have a much cleaner sound to it.
