We would like to get some vocal/tribal chants (Native/Persian sounding) for our progressive trance track. Something simple that adds to the tribal vibe that we're going for.
Here are some reference tracks that we're trying to have it sound like:
1. "Solaris" by Jason Ross (Audio brief link)
2. "Coaster" by Jason Ross
3. "Valley of the Red Gods" by Protoculture
***Check out the audio brief link to listen to "Valley of the Red Gods" to get an overall feel for what we're trying to have these vocal chants sound like***
We would really like the vocal chants to be in tune and fit with the overall vibe of the song, as well as be in time and sync with the bpm of the track.
BPM: 128
Key: F#m, 11A (Camelot Notation)
Timestamps from preview of track:
0-15 seconds: We're going for more of an ad lib vocal chant sound here
15-45 seconds: This is the portion of the song that the vocal chants should act as a "hook" for what's about to come in the next segment of the track
45-75 seconds: Main part of the breakdown section of the track. Vocal chants need to be epic sounding and add to the overall vibe of this section.
75-105 seconds: Something more along the sound of ad-libs would sound good here.
If you're experienced with doing vocal chants/tribal sounds, we would love to work with you on getting this track sounding great. We've provided some general guidelines but left room for you to express your creativity.
We're not opposed to having you send us a quick, raw demo at first so that we can get a general taste for how it would sound and go from there, giving you the correct modifications if necessary. Let us know if you have any questions or further clarification. We look forward to working with you. Thank you!
