Male Vocal Recording (Lead + Full Backing Vocals) - Nu-Metal/Rap Rock Style
Need versatility: aggressive rap, powerful clean singing, and distorted screams.
Style: Nu-Metal / Rap Rock (Limp Bizkit, Korn, Linkin Park)
Mood: Aggressive, energetic, confrontational, with moments of melodic release.

1. Song Structure and Lyrics

Chorus (Topline): Provided by the client. This should be the powerful, melodic "payoff" section. Sing with full voice, aggression, and attitude.

Verse 1 and Verse 2 and Chors: Need to be written. These should be primarily RAPPED. Focus on flow, rhythm, and a confrontational, rhythmic delivery. Short, punchy phrases.

2. Tasks for the Vocalist:

Phase 1: Writing and Approval of Verse Lyrics
Submit the lyrics for approval before recording.

Phase 2: Lead Vocal Recording

Verses: Aggressive, tight rap delivery. Focus on rhythm and clarity over melody. A slight "swagger" or sneer in the tone is desired.

Chorus: Powerful, belt-like clean singing. It can be slightly gritty but must be in pitch and full of energy. Think anthemic.

Record multiple full takes for comping.

Phase 3: Creation and Recording of Backing Vocals (BV's)

Arrangement: Backing vocals in this style are crucial for creating a massive, aggressive sound.

Call & Response: Aggressive shouts responding to the main vocal line.

Recording: The goal is a wall of sound. Record all gang vocals and doubles multiple times.

Phase 4: Recording Adlibs and Screams

Adlibs: This is key. Record aggressive adlibs throughout the track to add energy:

Choruses: High shouts, reinforcing words.
Breaks: Guttural noises, coughs, laughs, etc. (Limp Bizkit style).
Screams: Layer intense, short screams over breakdowns and transitions.
