I'm a female vocalist that has 10 years of experience having studied Drama and Theatre Arts, and writing songs since the age of 15. I thus identify myself as a singer/songwriter with a lot of vocal experience, and knowledge. I'm comfortable with a wide range of genres. I've featured on a lot of local Hip Hop and House songs in South Africa. And have competed and won many local talent competitions. However the creative process behind music, is what I really love the most. Singing for me is like therapy, its how I found my way through this world, and I'm very passionate about working with as many musicians as I can. I'm very professional and dedicated to my talent. It's really difficult for me to describe my voice, I don' t really know who I sound like but I have a wide range and I train myself with songs by singers like Chaka Khan, Eva Cassidy, Roberta Flack, Sara Vaugh, Ella Fitzgerald, KT Tunstall, Adele, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin, Katie Melua, Diana ross and Envogue. Furthermore I'm fluent in English, Dutch and Afrikaans and also comfortable singing in African languages and French and Spanish as well.
