Tiffany Augustin aka Kwalidi is a Slovakian-Laotian American who was raised in Virginia Beach and is best known as a Music Producer, Engineer and Songwriter specializing in mainstream, pop and hip-hop music. She attended Five Towns College in Long Island, New York receiving a Bachelor’s in Business Management with a Concentration in Audio Recording. Kwalidi has collaborated and performed with numerous talents and organizations such as The World Fishing Network, The Sports Channel, The Outdoor Channel, Velocity Music (production company signed with RCA), Five Towns College, Tribe Mafia Music, Eleven28 Ent., and so much more.
Kwalidi is eccentric, imaginative, and adept in music production. Her music is progressive, dynamic, and intuitive to the listener and she conveys that through her production skill. She has been producing since the age of 12 when she stumbled upon a friend in the lunchroom rapping over a beat personally made. When asked why she produces music, Kwalidi says “The goal is to evoke a powerful emotional and musical experience.” Kwalidi’s belief is that music is the language that does not need interpretation. With her knowledge, keen for insight through creativity, and openness of music genres, she has been able to combine alternative indie style with mainstream pop, hip-hop and rap music. Her music is meant to shift the systematic sound of culture.
