Pushing boundaries in sound design and building immersive worlds with audio is my passion. A combination of efficiency and a hunger for perfection in my work helps me meet deadlines, while maintaining top quality at an affordable price. Combine that with reliable communication, and you get the best experience turning your vision into a reality.

The quality of my work has always kept clients coming back, most hiring me exclusively after the first experience. I'm always eager to learn, and constantly thinking outside the box in the way I approach each project. Using samples I've taken with my stereo field mic is one of my favorite things to do, adding more depth to the tracks I work on.

I've used that mic to record and incorporate a calm fire crackling in the background of a spoken word track about autumn, because the last line is "I wanna burn like that."
On another track from the same album, I recorded myself riding a bike, catering to the poem's content
I used a sample of the ocean trickling through a tide pool
California springtime ambiance with crickets and birds
Wind breathing through palm trees
Typing on a keyboard and murmurs of a sales floor
Thunder ripping the sky open, and many more samples all on that one album. He just wanted some piano backing for his poems, but he got worlds for each track, and was extremely happy with the result.

This is my happy place. Putting you somewhere you're not, using audio magic. If that sounds what you're looking for, my door is open. I'd love to hear about how I can help you make the most of your next project.

Some other notes and thoughts to consider:

What should people look for in a producer? What are some key features you can’t do without? How do you pick one who will do the best job interpreting your vision and bringing it to fruition?

You ask some great questions. Here's what you can expect when you work with me…

Organization – I will provide a Google Drive folder which is constantly updated live, with folders for the original audio tracks, drafts, mixes, masters, instrumentals, and anything else we may need. There has never been a time where I’ve lost a file from a project. You’re in good hands.

Efficiency – I work quickly and can meet realistic deadlines. Too often I hear about projects taking years. This hasn’t happened with any of my clients; even on projects where we’ve needed to record live instruments incrementally, re-recording over previous mixes.

Quality – While working quickly to meet deadlines is important, I never let quality suffer. You will have my full dedication to revise until you’re happy. Every single project I work on is another chance for me to push myself to grow as I make your vision come to life.

Creativity – I’m always finding ways to bring that special sauce to anything I work on. Every single day, I’m learning and improving. As someone who’s self taught, I’m not held by some of the constraints a certified producer may face. You’ll find I have a great ear for perfect tune, structure, flow, and the ability to create a fully immersive environment. I only accept the highest quality results, and have a different ways of approaching things you just can’t get elsewhere.

Honest feedback – It’s in both of our best interest for us to end up with a pristine manifestation of the vision you have for your music. I will help you help me, and ask that you do the same. Having an honest line of communication means we’ll be free to make any changes necessary, take the steps needed to get there, and do it efficiently. Fixing things is part of achieving perfection, and vanity/pride never holds me back.

Resources – A portion of what I earn from each project goes right back into my gear and sound library. I have a 2 TB sample and instrument library, and plenty of pro gear (see “My Gear” section on the home page). Lucky enough to be surrounded by high caliber talent, I have access to a plethora of skilled artists, singers, rappers, and a ton of live instrument contacts we can feature to make your project the most it can be.

Experience – With over a decade of fine tuning my craft, you’re in the right hands. Pro Tools is my DAW of choice, and I’m always adding to my library of plugins. Some favorites are Native Instruments Komplete 14, Maschine 2, Kontakt, Massive, FM8, Isotope Ozone, Omnisphere, Halftime, Knock by Decap and Saucy Filter by Julez Jadon.

Promotion – When your project is finished, I can help you distribute it and promote it.
